Welcome! I am Vanessa, a certified Wedding and Event Planner through the Wedding Planning Institute of Canada. I have an amazingly supportive husband and two beautiful daughters whom share my love for special events with me.

It all began when I was a young girl. My mother would take me to the bookstore to buy a new book and instead of heading to the children’s section, I would be in Lifestyles or perusing through the magazine racks begging my mother to get me the latest bridal magazines. When she’d finally give in to my relentless ways, I’d pick up the issues I wanted and I instantly became the happiest girl.

When I got married in 2016, I hired a wonderful wedding planner who helped make my dream wedding vision come true. Having a strong sense of wanting to be part of planning my own wedding, I was introduced to amazing vendors and developed a great rapport with many people in the industry that remains true today.

I naturally became the family and friend’s party planner, the organized person whom everyone could count on to help them create and execute their event beautifully. I have been given the opportunity to plan many wedding related events as well as other special events of varying sizes, which have all assisted me in becoming a well-rounded planner. It has always given me such great joy being part of many events knowing I had a part in making it just so.

Thus, Vanessa Victoria Weddings & Events came to fruition, where I can share my love for producing, styling and executing flawless events and you can enjoy every moment of your special day.
